The Eloquent Oven can provide anything from a simple, elegant, dessert cake as a lovely finish to a special dinner to a complete table of pastries, cookies, and confections for a larger event. - Bete Noire - flourless dark chocolate cake.
- Frangipane Pear Tart - short crust filled with frangipane and poached pears for a classic French Treat
- Fresh Fruit Tart - short crust covered with pastry cream and fresh fruits in season.
- Gateau Basque - pastry cream filled almond and rum kissed cake.
- HoneyCake - spicy cake filled with Crystalized ginger and chocolate bits.
- Opera Cake - thin layers of light genoise filled with coffee buttercream and chocolate ganache, topped with a rich chocolate glaze.
- Baklava - traditional Egyptian recipe with pistachios.
- Biscotti - almost any flavor you can think of, but we especially like cappuccino with cacao nibs, cranberry and pistachio, and almond with candied orange. We can dip these in chocolate if you'd like!
- Chocolate Eloquence - (or our adorable Porcupines) chocolate confections dipped in more chocolate.
- Halvah Shortbread - a Mediterranean update for a classic cookie.
- Kalamansi Cups - Persian Lime curd in a chocolate cup (or we can make these lemon or orange).
- Lemon Squares - tangy lemon filling over a shortbread crust (try these with our signature torched meringue topping).
- Mexican Wedding Cakes - nutty butter cookies also known as Russian teacakes, Viennese crescents, or Greek Kourambethes.
- Mini Cupcakes - Pretty much any flavor of cake with your choice of icing. we particularly like carrot cake with brown sugar icing, yellow cake with chocolate icing, or chocolate cake with raspberry icing.
- Mini Eclairs or Cream Puffs - light choux pastry filled with whipped cream, pastry cream, or citrus curd.
- Scones - traditional English cream scones laced with preserved cardamom-scented kumquats (or currents or dried apricots or candied orange or chocolate chips or ? ).
- Truffle Cups - chocolate ganache in a chocolate cup with hand-made fondant decorations.
